Description Bálint Magyar 2010-04-01 11:46:22 UTC
Currently there is no way to add Tracker tags to files from within Nautilus. Proper integration with an easy to use and straightforward UI would generally help organizing files a lot. Currently you can only add tags from within Tracker itself, which is a bother considering every other file management operation is done through Nautilus.

I propose adding UI for tag viewing/modification to the "Information" sidebar of Nautilus, as well as a tab or maybe a separate widget in files' Properties windows.

Ubuntu bug #133417 suggests that this should be a Tracker bug instead. Confirm/deny?

There is already a nautilus extension provided by tracker for this.
