Description Omer Akram 2010-03-28 14:46:31 UTC
"Using empathy 2.29.93. If I change my nick in Empathy using the /nick command and someone mentions my new nick, that entry does not get highlighted as it should. However, if they mention my original nick it does get highlighted."

Could someone familiar with the code give me a quick pointer as to how and where this is managed, in case I have half an hour free and get annoyed at this again? (Most likely when my nick is set to "michael|away" :) ) I assume that it is in Empathy, not Telepathy. Does Empathy remember the current nick, and if so where? And where is the check done?

I realise that you could probably fix it yourselves in the time you take to answer this, but just in case you don't feel like it...
