this report has been filed here:

"I am working on a tutorial. I can select text in Yelp, but no permutation of a copy command seems to make it actually add anything to the clipboard buffer"

"I attached the file I am writing, but note that help opened directly from other applications also does not work."

"I can confirm this with other docbooks documents too, copy and paste from any doc like brasero doesn't work at all"

Works for me with Yelp 2.29.5. Are you using the WebKit-based Yelp that Ubuntu ships?
Comment 2 Pedro Villavicencio 2010-03-23 11:33:53 UTC
We're using the Yelp version from Ubuntu yes, but is a xulrunner based one, could be that the problem is on the backend? Thanks for looking into this Shaun.

Reopening as per last comment.
Comment 4 Shaun McCance 2010-12-20 19:07:29 UTC
Works in Yelp 2 and Yelp 3. This is almost certainly a problem isolated to the never-released experimental branch that Ubuntu decided to ship their own packages from. Closing.
