GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 613219
Bluetooth applet suggests phone disconnected while able to browse files.
Last modified: 2010-06-05 04:21:22 UTC
Using gnome-bluetooth 2.29.91-0ubuntu4 on Linux kernel 2.6.32-16-generic #25-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 9 16:33:12 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux. I've paired my phone a SE K800i with the PC and can browse the phone/internal memory stick files. If I go to the Indicator Applet (0.3.3) it suggests that the bluetooth link is no longer connected (see attached). Support files are as follows: libbluetooth3 4.62-0ubuntu5 bluez 4.62-0ubuntu5 bluetooth 4.62-0ubuntu5 bluez-alsa 4.62-0ubuntu5 bluez-cups 4.62-0ubuntu5 4.62-0ubuntu5 bluez-gstreamer 4.62-0ubuntu5 4.62-0ubuntu5 bluez-utils 4.62-0ubuntu5 4.62-0ubuntu5 obexd-client 0.22-0ubuntu1 0.22-0ubuntu1 See also launchpad bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-bluetooth/+bug/478174
Kevin, the ubuntu gnome-bluetooth bug is mainly for another problem so no need to link it here. Could you report the problem completely here. ah, and pease tell also which version of gnome-bluetooth you're using that might help :).
That, and there's no indicator applet support in gnome-bluetooth.
