GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 613153
Feature request: add a "search" box in the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog
Last modified: 2011-04-13 15:05:09 UTC
There are roughly 75 keyboard shortcut functions available to be configured. Finding the right one can be time consuming and frustrating. It would be nice if there was a SEARCH box where the user could type a fragment of a function name, and the dialog would filter just those functions which match. This is essentially the *exact* same idea as is already present in "Add to panel" dialog.
Mass move to new component "Keyboard" where the keyboard shortcuts live in GNOME 3.
The search isn't needed now that keyboard shortcuts are categorised.
