Description Bastien Nocera 2010-03-17 13:56:56 UTC
As it's currently quite confusing, see:
http://live.gnome.org/GnomeArt/ArtRequests/issue22
Comment 1 Bastien Nocera 2010-11-10 13:16:35 UTC
Mass move to gnome-control-center.
Comment 2 Jeremy Newton 2012-03-26 23:16:06 UTC
I would think using either the avatar-default icon (icons/gnome/*x*/status/avatar-default.*) or the computer icon (icons/gnome/*x*/devices/computer.*) would be effective.

Although if you want to get fancy, you could combine both ideas (see attachment)

Sample User

An example of a user and a computer that could be used; I just sort of threw this together in gimp in a couple of minutes. I can make a bigger one if anyone is interested.
Comment 4 Bastien Nocera 2012-08-24 17:21:13 UTC
Mass reassign, sorry for the noise.
Comment 5 André Klapper 2021-06-09 16:02:20 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
