The keyboard indicator has been replaced by a notification area icon which leads to get gnome-panel displaying a warning about the broken applet on upgrade, the nullapplet should be used there to avoid the warning...

Thanks. I had to make a minor change to the first patch though, as I forgot to add the new file to po/POTFILES.in.
