Description craigdaymon 2010-03-15 18:13:56 UTC
Under "Receiving Options" for my mail account, I have NOT checked the "Message Storage" box for "Delete After". (It shows a value of 7 days, grayed out.) Periodically, an Inbox.tmp folder appears and I find that e-mails have been deleted. I want/need control over when my e-mails are deleted. Several older e-mails critical to maintaining records of correspondence have been lost. I tried setting the value to 365 days, since the oldest remaining e-mail (because of this bug) is only 4 months old, and e-mails were still being deleted in the same fashion. I am very surprised people using Evolution in a corporate setting aren't screaming about this bug. I am running Sabayon Linux and am up to date as of 2 days ago.

I don't see any such setting in exchange. I think you are using pop.

Do you have leave messages on server enabled ?
