I have my ~/Music folder.
It contains a symbolic link to an external hard drive with many mp3s.

>> ls -l ~/Music

...
ExtHD_MUSIC -> /media/MyExtHD/MP3s
...

If I import the ~/Music folder with banshee, it doesn't import the contents of ~/Music/EXTHD_MUSIC.

I consider this a bug, and is different behaviour than most other music players in linux.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.
