Description Alexey Torkhov 2010-03-08 22:12:31 UTC
Currently, there is no way to remove/disable keyboard indicator from tray - it always appears if there is more than one layout selected.
At least, it should be a gconf key like "enabled" under /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/indicator.

Will do for 3.0. A bit too late for 2.30
Comment 2 Sergey V. Udaltsov 2010-04-03 22:32:29 UTC
Fixed in git. The undocumented key would be desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/general/disable_indicator
