Description José Alburquerque 2010-03-08 17:57:03 UTC
Some time ago I filed a bug about the volume control applet not working in ubuntu 10.04 (lucid):

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-media/+bug/523194

I've not received any comments so I thought I'd file the bug here (upstream). Would there be a reason why this would not be working on this system after the upgrade? The volume control applet desktop file in /etc/xdg/autostart/ looks like the following:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Volume Control
Comment=Show desktop volume control
Icon=multimedia-volume-control
Exec=gnome-volume-control-applet
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Categories=
NoDisplay=true
OnlyShowIn=XFCE;

Closing as NOTGNOME - the desktop file there is patched in Ubuntu to not autostart
