In Ubuntu Martin Gamache reported:

I'm not sure this is the right package, I'm guessing here... Here's the problem.

When opening the Sound Window (from the Preferences Menu), one cannot set sounds (or no sounds) for specific apps or system events.

Before, I was used to go there to remove the Ubuntu start sound (too long for my taste), now I have no option to do that, other than removing all system sounds by using the "no sounds" scheme.

The rest of the windows looks great though, although there are fewer options...
