Description aguest70 2010-03-07 06:07:08 UTC
An "internal GStreamer error: negotiation problem" occured when i tried to open a theora video using totem under Ubuntu 9.10. Here are the Properties of the video file:

Stream 1:
   Typ: Video
   Codec: theo
   Resolution: 720x304
   Framerate: 23.976041
   Encoder: ffmpeg2theora-0.26
Stream 2:
   Typ: Audio
   Codec: vorb
   Channels: Stereo
   Freq: 44100 Hz
   Bitrate: 128 kb/s
   Encoder: ffmpeg2theora-0.26

Playback of the same file works fine with vlc and xine.

Any chance you could try with the latest packages in the GStreamer PPA?

Could you do:

  $ head --bytes=990k theoravideo.ogv > head.ogv

and attach that file to this bug?
