Description Peteris Krisjanis 2010-03-03 14:39:15 UTC
1. Configure HTTP, FTP and SOCKS servers in GNOME proxy settings (System => Preferences => GNOME proxy settings). p.s. computer is in local network which is completely firewalled from outside, except proxy server
2. Open Totem, give it MMS URL in Movie => Open Location...

Result:
Totem hangs as it tries to reach first port and then 80 port of the server (MMS aren't accesible trough http proxy).

Expected result:
It would be nice that Totem detects that if both http and socks proxy servers are set, then use SOCKS for MMS.

Not a problem in Totem itself I'm afraid.
