I noticed some pdf that contain some elements with transparencies that aren't well displayed in evince but if you try to see them with kpdf you don't see any issue.
For example try to open this pdf file with evince

It's already fixed in poppler since 0.11.2, but you need cairo >= 1.9.4 too.
