Description Charlie Kravetz 2010-03-01 19:23:54 UTC
This bug has been reported to Ubuntu Launchpad as:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/492583

I created a spreadsheet with an optimization problem using gnumeric on Intrepid. After the karmic upgrade, when I open the same sheet with karmic's version of gnumeric, all the constraint definitions have gone missing. Now I know that the file contains them, because when I open the same file on a windows installation of gnumeric (1.9.1) they show up.

For example, create a small solver problem in a new gnumeric file. Check that it works. Now save the file and re-open in gnumeric. The constraints are gone from the UI!. If you gunzip the gnumeric file and look at the xml, you can see the constraint definitions in the XML but they don't load in the constraints UI.
