What kind of Inbox is this? The local one?
Can you please provide exact steps to reproduce this, click by click?
Comment 2 gordon 2010-02-26 09:09:12 UTC
Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch.
I have a total of 115 messages now showing in my inbox.(local folder)
The actual number is 14 with 101 duplicate messages which have been
created.
I have single clicked on a message in my inbox and either right clicked
and used the delete option or used the delete icon.
Current messages appear to be being deleted (i.e. in to the 'Deletd
Items' folder in the normal way now but if I click on one of the
duplicates it immediately creates up to 10 new duplicates.
In my 'Deleted Items' folder I now have a total of 122 messages which do
not clear on close of the programme.
I have tried 'expunging' the folder but get a message 'error while
expunging folder'.
I have been using 'Evolution' for some 4 months now & have been quite
happy with the way it has handled mail.
I should add that I am new user of Linux of some 4 months.
Hope this is sufficient information for you.
If you require any further information please ask me.

Best Regards,

Gordon Stevens

This seems to be the same issue as bug 550414. Bug 550414 comment 48 explains how to fix it, if you are a bit tech-savvy...
