screen shot of calendar widget

When using the "opening balance" tab on the new account GUI I found problems with date format acceptance.

1) 2 digit year dates (e.g. 1/1/98) entered in the date field come through wrongly, full 4 digit years (1/1/1998) are ok.

2) Clicking on the calendar widget brings up "0000" as the year - see attachment

This problem may be related to bug #611853.
Comment 2 Geert Janssens 2010-08-08 16:42:31 UTC
Point one definitely is the same problem as bug #611853.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce the second problem on my WinXP test system though.
