The "No name" can be translated in Slovak using different words depending what exactly is without a name.

Please add translation comment for the message above.

Thanks.

I'm not sure what to put there. "No name" means that there the visible name used for a .desktop file is not set. This is the string you see in the applications menu, or when you see a .desktop file in nautilus.

Since I don't know how it can be ambiguous, can you suggest a translator comment that would help clarify things?
Comment 2 Marcel Telka 2010-02-22 12:10:05 UTC
The problem with Slovak translation is that when "No name" means an unnamed person, then we would translate it as "Bez mena". OTOH, if it is, for example, unnamed folder, the translation should be "Bez názvu". We use different translation of "name" for living beings and not living beings.

So, if the "No name" means that an application's name (as shown in a menu, or so) would be "No name", then we should translate it "Bez názvu", but we need to have this clearly stated in the po file.

To be honest, I am not sure I completely understood your description where the "No name" string should be visible, so please consider the paragraph above as an example only.

Thanks.

I've put: the "name" mentioned here is the name of an application or a document
