Description odavy 2010-02-18 09:11:45 UTC
Gnucash 2.3.9 is crashing at lauching on Windows Vista

Here is the trace log:

*   WARN <qof.engine> [guid_init()] only got 2027 bytes.
The identifiers might not be very random.
* INFO <gnc.backend.dbi> [gnc_dbi_check_sqlite3_file] exists, does not have SQLite format string -> not DBI

I think the crash with 2.3.9 is when loading the XML data file, since the second time I used 2.3.9, it crashes just after gnucash ask me if I want to open it the data file that is locked (by the previous crash).

Gnucash 2.3.8 is working on the XML data file perfectly.

regards,

olivier

It is probably related to Bug 610051 since I have a report opened in gnucash GUI.

Then it's definitely bug 610051.

Version 2.3.10 has just been released solely to address that issue.
