Description federico 2010-02-16 16:29:39 UTC
When I copy a large text string, the window widths expands to fit it collapsing the screen. I know it is a bad practice to have long lines but, for editing purposes, I prefer it that way.

Can you please indicate the necessary steps to replicate that problem? The window width isn't supposed to change.
Comment 2 federico 2010-02-17 05:10:09 UTC
1. Copy a really long string into the subtitle text box (larger than the width of the window)
2. Play the video
3. Double-clic on the subtitle or press Ctrl-E or Ctrl-D and the window width expands beyond the screen width

Thanks for spotting this. It has been fixed on the development version and should be available on the next release. The fix was to wrap the text so it fits in the available space.
