GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 610036
Cannot manually copy files to Mass Storage DAP
Last modified: 2020-03-17 08:50:54 UTC
When dragging files to a USB Mass Storage DAP, the importing progress bar appears for a second, as if transfer had completed in just one second, but the said media has not been transferred nor transcoded at all. Setting the device to sync with a playlist works.
With the newly released Banshee 1.5.4 I get the following message for each song that I try to copy on my Mass Storage Device: File not found http://127.0.0.1:8089/-1911950848/9306140
This problem is still present with Banshee 1.6.0 on Ubuntu Lucid final.
Does this still happen using 1.8.0 or 1.9.0 (you can use the Ubuntu Banshee daily ppa to confirm on the most recent version of Banshee)? If that is the case please run: banshee-1 --debug --redirect-log and attach the resulting ~/.config/banshee-1/log to the report so that we can get the information we need to examine the issue. Additionally please attach the output from the following commands: udevadm info --export-db gvfs-mount --list
Closing this bug report as no further information has been provided. Please feel free to reopen this bug if you can provide the information asked for. Thanks!
Reopening, since we have some activity on the Launchpad bug.
The launchpad bug is at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/528396
On the other hand, I can't reproduce this bug any more.
Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
