Description Dennis Toll 2010-02-14 03:57:25 UTC
I am using Windows 7.

I cannot use GIMP to print a photo to "Fine Art Paper" on my printer, a Canon MP980.

In the print dialogue, I can go to my printer preferences and set the paper to Fine Art Letter paper under both the Main Tab and Page Setup Tab. But when I try to print, I get an error message telling me I can't print. The message says:
"The Media Type and Paper size are not set correctly."

The print preferences are set correctly, but the "Page Setup" dialogue will not set correctly. I can go to File-Page Setup and change the Paper Size to "Fine Art Letter" but when I close that dialogue and then go back to it again, the selection did not stay. It always reverts back to "Letter 8.5"x11""

I tried picking different sizes of paper and some stick when selected, but some choices won't stay. The choice reverts back to a previous selection.
