This bug only appears when the overview is set to only show one desktop at a time.  When this mode is being used, clicking on an Application in the Application area of the overview that is not on your current workspace causes a blue screen to wipe across the screen as it brings you to that other workspace.  I assume that it should instead show the current workspace wiping over, or some other more intuitive animation.

This occurs using the very latest code in git.

There is a patch in 609673, that fixes this.
