GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 60959
consistant crash when password manager is accessed
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: galeon Severity: major Version: 0.12.1 Synopsis: consistant crash when password manager is accessed Bugzilla-Product: galeon Bugzilla-Component: Mozilla interaction Description: On a regular basis, galeon appears to corrupt password manager entries for certain sites such that any attempt to access that site results in a crash. Removing the "mozilla" subdirectory from $HOME/.galeon alleviates the problem temporarily, at the cost of losing all stored passwords. However, the problem eventually recurs, though not necessarily with the same sites. This problem does not seem to occur with Mozilla 0.9.4 when used alone. System: RedHat Linux 7.1 + XFS: Linux sordid.slut.org 2.4.5-xfs #2 Tue Jun 12 20:10:09 EDT 2001 i686 unknown Debugging Information: (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...
