glunarclock fails to load on Ubuntu Karmic 9.04
Last modified: 2012-03-06 17:16:40 UTC
glunarclock fails to load on Ubuntu 9.04. I have no clue about the actual bug but I have been advised to report "OAFIID bugs" to the gnome-panel developers, and the error message does include OAFIID. Karmic 9.10 i386 gnome-panel 1:2.28.0-0ubuntu6 reported by package manager, the aboutbox says 2.26.0 glunarclock 1:0.32.4-11ubuntu2 Steps to reproduce: (0. install glunarclock) 1. right-click on Panel -> Add to Panel 2. Choose glunarclock 3. error
So what is the exact error message? Did you notify the developers at http://glunarclock.sourceforge.net/ ? Also, 2.26 vs 2.28 is a bit weird...
----- Error "Lunar Clock" has quit unexpectedly. If you reload a panel object, it will automatically be added back to the panel. Don't Reload / Reload ? ----- ...if reload is chosen: ----- Error The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:Gnome_GLunarclockApplet". Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration? Don't Delete / Delete? ----- I haven't submitted it to SF, do you want me to...?
That error is coming from the applet, please contact the developers of it. thanks.
