Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2010-02-07 14:37:18 UTC
If there's a link at the bottom of a page that cannot be scrolled, I cannot click it because my mouse cursor is blocked by the chromium-like "hyperlink status bubble" that appears.

To reproduce: line up a link with the bottom 10px of the browser window.

Yes, it flickers like mad, I believe the "bubble" should change sides, when you hover it with your mouse.
Now, what happens if you have a really long link, say one that takes up the whole screen width? I propose that the link should be shortened to be not longer than 50% of the screen, since most of the information in links shouldnt be important to you anyways, except for the beginning and the end.

Actually, this bug has been solved in 2.30... It now does like Chromium, so to my initial report this is fixed (hiding the link tooltip is exactly what I wanted).
