Description Omer Akram 2010-02-07 07:20:54 UTC
originally reported at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/518216

"Compared to Pidgin, there seems to be no way in Empathy to make a multi-person MSN conversation. This is a serious feature regression compared to the previous default IM client....

-> Can't make group chat room on a MSN server.
-> Can't invite participant to already existing MSN conversation."

I tried this under empathy 2.29.6 and there was an invite button clicking it popped up a window i inserted the name of email of the user I wanted to chat in a gruop chat and nothing happened. then I did the same on pidgin and worked. and In yahoo's case the invite button was greyed out.
