Description Mike McCallum 2001-09-21 22:39:02 UTC
Package: control-center
Severity: major
Version: 1.4.0.1
Synopsis: gnomecc no longer works with pilot conduits
Bugzilla-Product: control-center
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:
There are two issues here:

1) the "pilot" and "pilot conduits" interface show up at the top of the
list now,
under a two-deep folder saying "unknown listing" or some such (I'll look
at it again
and send the correct term).

2) the "pilot conduits" no longer works. It gives the same set of pilot
setup options that the other pilot selection gives (is it "pilot
devices"...? I can't remember).

This is gnomecc-1.4; I tried out the 1.5 version that was just posted,
but
this later version has very few control options: just mouse,
background, keyboard, sound, and a few others. The whole slew of WM
options, peripherials, devices, sessions, etc is not available in this
newer version.

I'm getting lots of errors trying to select various settings, also:

GnomeUI-CRITICAL **: file gnome-appbar.c: line 569 (gnome_appbar_push):
assertion `status != NULL' failed.

GnomeUI-CRITICAL **: file gnome-appbar.c: line 569 (gnome_appbar_push):
