https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/395108

"I have added lots of bookmarks in Nautilus but I find that when I add a new one it appears at the end of the list. I would like to be able to sort them alphabetically. Where there are dot .files the dot should be ignored for the purposes of sorting by first letter of the folder name."
Comment 1 António Fernandes 2017-09-04 14:47:39 UTC
Nautilus version 2.29 is too old and not supported anymore.

Current versions allow bookmarks to be manually sorted by drag and drop, so the user can sort them in a convenient manner.
