Description Pedro Villavicencio 2010-01-22 11:52:39 UTC
this report has been filed here:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/510562

"Using the spinning wheel of the mouse with the option "continuous" disabled I found a nasty bug in evice and that is easy to reproduce:

* Put yourself in the first page of the document
* Spin the wheel until the page view is forced to do an scroll
* Go back using the wheel to the first page

What is expected to happen is that the cursor in the page view of the right is in the first page and that in the right you are viewing the same page.

What happened instead is that the page view is correct (the cursor is in the first page), but in the left you are now viewing the second page, which is obviously incorrect.

When the window lost its focus evince finally shows the correct page (I discovered this trying to include a capture in the bug description)
"

"Here it is a small video... it can be seen that first, when the page view on the left do not need to scroll the functioning of evince is correct. When the page view scrolls (with the cursor in the right pane) there is an error when trying to go back to the first page. The same problem occurs with the last page"

I have more information about the bug, it also appears using the page up and page down keys and not only using the spinning wheel of the mouse

It seems to work as expected with 3.26 and I cannot reproduce the bug.

Please feel free to reopen this bug report if the problem still occurs with a recent version of GNOME, or feel free to report this bug in the bug tracking system of your Linux distribution if your distribution still supports the version that you are using.
