Description Andreas Allacher 2010-01-21 15:14:26 UTC
Hi,

when I try to playback some mkv files with H.264 video I get something like this as error with GIT version (the values in the "(" might not be correct, as I forgot to copy my error line and don't have the GIT compiled/installed anymore but through Google I found an error line with the same description at least):
[h264 @ 0x644330]time_scale/num_units_in_tick invalid or unsupported
(-316847296/82022941)

However, this doesn't exist with 0.10.9. Furthermore, I tried the GIT version with a different FFmpeg version (SVN-r21259) too (setting it to get that version). I know that with this version works for those files as I tried ffmpeg and ffplay of this version with the same files.

I mainly tried to compile GIT because some WVC1 files were not working. I have now compiled 0.10.9 with a small change from GIT to get WVC1 files to work with 0.10.9 too.

Is this still a problem with latest GIT?
