Description klaus.kusche 2010-01-20 18:31:20 UTC
The Gnome terminal does not have a "find" and "find next" function.

The KDE terminal does offer such a function, which finds a string in the text displayed in the terminal and positions the scroll such that the found string is visible.

As the the scrollback is usually set to several thousand lines nowadays and hard to search visually, such a function is very useful.
