Description Omer Akram 2010-01-16 11:59:48 UTC
originally suggested at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/504468

"The avatars are pretty useless for finding the contact you're looking for when they're located on the right side; it's very unnatural for (Western) people to browse along the right edge of an object. Rather show them to the left, and perhaps have a small overlay indicate their presence status."

Thanks for your request but a similar request to have avators moved to the left was already done in bug 521122, and rejected.
