When one adds

SEARCHENGINE           = NO

it works nicely.
Comment 1 Paul A. Bristow 2010-01-12 10:21:03 UTC
I confirm that (from 1.6.2) I have got this message using Boost Quickbook Doxygen toolchain, and that adding

    <doxygen:param>SEARCHENGINE=NO

means that the message no longer appears in the log.

But my docs still do not build correctly for reasons unclear, and perhaps unconnected.

The above is also reported at:

Comment 2 Dimitri van Heesch 2010-01-17 11:10:30 UTC
I think setting
GENERATE_HTML = NO
SEARCHENGINE  = YES
is causing this.
Please let me know if this is indeed the case for your particular configuration.

I'll fix this in the next subversion update.
Comment 3 Paul A. Bristow 2010-01-19 15:07:32 UTC
Previously I did not specify either.

Specifying SEARCHENGINE = NO caused the error message to 'go away' but I got no output (from Boost autodoc function which feeds parameters to Doxygen and uses the output XML - in a way that I don't understand - and don't get an doxyfile saved automatically).

Has the GENERATE_HTML and/or GENERATE_XML default changed so that I *must* specify GENERATE_HTML=NO and SEARCHENGINE=NO?

(This is a showstopper for all Boost Doxygen usage so I have reverted to 1.6.1 and recommended others to do the same for now).
Comment 4 Dimitri van Heesch 2010-02-21 12:57:40 UTC
This bug was previously marked ASSIGNED, which means it should be fixed in
doxygen version 1.6.3. Please verify if this is indeed the case. Reopen the
bug if you think it is not fixed and please include any additional information
that you think can be relevant.
Comment 5 Paul A. Bristow 2010-02-25 17:44:08 UTC
This problem disappears with 1.6.3 and the Boost Quickbook autodoc Doxygen toolchain now builds correctly for me

(without passing <doxygen:param>SEARCHENGINE=NO).

Thanks.
