Description Jorge Castro 2010-01-11 21:19:35 UTC
We would like to support application-indicators for gnome-bluetooth as proposed at this page:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DesktopExperienceTeam/ApplicationIndicators

The work has not started, so I wanted to open this bug as a placeholder and to get feedback on the feature, thanks!

Shouldn't this be in the gnome-bluetooth component then?

Xan, sigh, I mispasted, this is a wishlist bug for application indicators in Epiphany.

Do we really need one at all?

From launchpad bug report:

Recommendation: This shouldn’t be in the panel at all. Instead, add a “Downloads” menu item below “File” > “Save As…”, that opens the Downloads window. Remove the notification area item.

Can't see why this would be needed.
