Description Kilian Klaiber 2010-01-08 14:01:31 UTC
Evolution unstable/system reboot

The computer suddenly reboots/switches user, when opening evolution. This happens completely randomly. It doesn't matter whether I use the panel, docky or the Application/Internet/Evolution. The same thing happens. I wish I could send you additional information once it happens, but I don't know how, since all applications are suddenly closed and the computer reboots.

Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic)
Gnome Release: 2.28.1 2009-11-03 (Ubuntu)
BugBuddy Version: 2.28.0

I'll try to. I installed all the packages. Now I have to make evolution crash again. Once, it does, I'll send you the information.

Thanks a lot!

This bug was reported against a GNOME version that is now not supported anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes for the version that you use. By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME.

The current stable GNOME and Evolution version is 2.32.0.
Please check if the problem you reported here still occurs with a recent version of GNOME by reporting back which exact version you tested against

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed for your version. Without feedback this report will be closed as INCOMPLETE in 6 weeks.
