GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 606314
If I set the first day of a week is Monday, then at sunday, i click the "today" button, the next monday will be choosed
Last modified: 2012-09-07 06:08:18 UTC
I tested it, if i choose the week starts at sunday, then no problem, but if I choose the week starts at monday(or other days), then at sunday, i can not reach sunday by click the "Today" button.
This scenario seems to work fine here. Which locale do you have ?
I have tested it in zh_CN und en_US, under ubuntu 9.10 and openSUSE 11.2. The version of Evolution are 2.28.1 and 2.28.0. To replay this bug: 1. choose "work week" to view calendar 2. set not compress weekend use gconf-editor 3. set Saturday and Sunday as work days at "Evolution Preferences" 4. choose week starts on "monday" at "Evolution Preferences" 5. when Sunday comes, I click the "Today" button, then, the calendar focus on next Monday, at 7:00, which i set as "Day beginns"
PS: This bug happens ONLY in "Work Week" View (which i set Sat. and Sun. as work days) in "Day", "Week", "Month" view, the programm goes to right day, and in "Day" view also right time.
(In reply to comment #2) > 2. set not compress weekend use gconf-editor ^^^ it's under Display tab in preferences and it's for a month view only What is your system timezone and the one configured in evolution, please? As this seems to be the only way how to trigger this, because I do not see this issue when trying with your steps. There is selected the actual day and time (the Marcus Bain line - the red one - is selected as well) for me, when I try it. Thus probably your system and evolution timezone, together with actual system time, may play its role in this as well.
Created attachment 151177 [details] Evolution Timezone
Timezone is Europe/Berlin, Evolution hats the same Timezone, see the attachment.
I can confirm this issue. In fact, I came here to report it ;-) My timezone is Berlin, too.
