Description haris neziric 2010-01-06 22:34:58 UTC
when listening to online radio station, i see status bar 'buffering' audio.

if you stop playback, and after a couple of moments/minutes play that or other radio station, for a fraction of a second you will hear a short 'beep' sound; a buffer leftover i presume.

that sound, although very short, is quite annoying.

could buffer be cleared, without playing it to speakers, when playing/resuming radio stations?

As far as I can tell this is caused by the mp3 decoder emitting junk.

Does this still happen with the latest releases? Can someone get a debug log with GST_DEBUG=5?

haris, can you please provide debug trace if you can reproduce the problem with latest version of Gstreamer ?
Comment 5 haris neziric 2011-07-07 07:21:48 UTC
akhil, i have no idea how to debug this, but if you provide me with the necessary steps i'll be happy to do so.
