Description Victor Sergienko 2010-01-04 15:32:36 UTC
I installed Empathy and started it by hand. Got 4 accounts there auto-created. Don't know where they came from, could be Pidgin or Kopete.

After relogin, all the accounts disappeared.
I killed empathy and mission-control, as advised at
 http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1273477
and the accounts reappeared.
restarted Empathy, and the accounts reappeared.

Ubuntu Karmic, Empathy 2.28.1.1.

Copying bug from Ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/500715

Can do whatever tests needed.

Thanks for your bug report.
That's probably the same issue as bug #604628.
I suggest you to retest once it has been fixed.

@Guillaume Desmottes I faced this today and had to pkill mission-control and then was able to see my accounts
Comment 3 Guillaume Desmottes 2010-01-18 12:12:34 UTC
Could be a mission-control bug then. If it happens again could you please grab mission-control logs from the debug menu?
Comment 4 Omer Akram 2010-01-18 12:15:47 UTC
yes, sure
