Whilst playing some media in totem, no textual accurate display is given of the media length and current position neither on the graphical bar nor in the status bar. The only available information is the graphical position bar. This is insufficient in at least two ways. Firstly, the bar is always as wide as the window, giving no indication of media length ever. Secondly, if the media is long, then the graphical bar gives an imprecise current position.
