Description Marco Pallotta 2009-12-31 11:02:05 UTC
This bug was already reported on launchpad (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/f-spot/+bug/498800).

When you install a new system and then you want to import all your
photos managed with f-spot (and tagged with it with tags stored in the
photos) you can simply import your photos (file -> import) with f-spot
and all of them have their previous tags, but what about the tag icons?
They are lost.

I think f-spot should include an option to export tag icons. Maybe the
best thing is to add an export feature that allows you to copy your
photos into a target directory (for example an usb medium) and the icons
into a file so that f-spot can import them.

My tests were made with f-spot 0.4.3.1 and Ubuntu Hardy (8.04).
