Description Sam Morris 2009-12-27 15:09:42 UTC
I was burning an ISO to a DVD+RW that already had data on it, so as part of the process Brasero blanked the DVD.

When the blanking operation completed, I got a strange message from (I assume) Nautilus:

Unable to mount Blank Optical Disk
DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound: The given volume was not found

Then, a few seconds later, another message:

Unable to mount New_Compilation
DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound: The given volume was not found

Meanwhile the burning process continued as normal.

When brasero finished burning and started finalising, a third message appeared:

Unable to mount Blank Optical Disk
DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound: The given volume was not found

Then, when finalising was complete:

Unable to mount Debian 5.0.3 amd64 Bin-1
Error mounting: mount exited with exit code 1: helper failed with:
mount: /dev/sr0 already mounted or /media/cdrom0 busy

I didn't see this last time I burned a DVD.
