Description nomnex 2009-12-27 07:17:46 UTC
I have just installed Karmic and moved from Pidgin to Empathy.
I am aware of the lack of plug-ings and the current early stage of development of Empathy compared to Pidgin, and that's fine by me. Empathy is a nice project.

But, I have a concern about my privacy. I need to be able to block the contacts in my contact list on/off at my liking. That's a basic feature for any IM client. Thank you.

Thanks for your report, the same feature has already been requested in bug
551911. I'm marking this one as a duplicate; you'll get subscribed to the
other one.
