Description Sascha Heid 2009-12-25 02:39:50 UTC
Im using Metacity-2.28.0 in Ubuntu-Karmic.
Often when i click on a Program in the Tasklist that is minimized or in the background nothing happens.
I can left-click on it as much as i want and it gets totally ignored.
Right-click still works.
If i click on the Desktop and then on the Program in the Tasklist again it will work and become un-minimized / put into the foreground.
2 People on the Ubuntuforums have also reported this issue.

I filed this Bug against Metacity because it does not happen when i use xfwm4.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/metacity/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
