Log file from running banshee-1 --debug

As of version 1.5.2 the GUI of banshee always freezes for 10-20 seconds when a new file starts to play. During the freeze the banshee window becomes unresponsive and my CPU spikes to 100%, however the song always starts to play, even while the GUI is frozen. Also when i switch a playlist or select another album in a playlist i see the same behavior.
A few weeks ago i tried
* ..to disable all the plugins and also disabled writing metadata to files, but this didn't help.
* ..to VACUUM my banshee.db with the sqlite3 commandline tool. This didn't help either.
* ..to create a entirely new banshee.db and added all my music (5700+ songs). The new database was only 5+ MB while my old one was 13+ MB. With the new database Banshee i didn't have the problem. Then i started again with my old database and removed all my custom playlists (20+). As of then the problem disappeared with my old database as well.
However a week ago i started seeing the problem ago. I'm still using my old banshee.db but with only 4 playlists (favorites, recent favorites, recently added, unheard). Again i tried to create a new database but now also the new database had the freezing problem...

I'm currently using version 1.5.3 from the banshee-daily ppa on Ubuntu Karmic.
I have attached a log file from running banshee-1 --debug, while i was playing some songs.

This looks quite a bit like Bug 581103. Running Banshee from a terminal with the --debug-sql option - or testing the patch in Bug 581103 - could probably confirm that the two issues are the same.

I'm closing this as a duplicate, but feel free to reopen it if your issue is different.
