Description Praveen Thirukonda 2009-12-18 15:27:58 UTC
when creating archive with password user should be asked to enter password twice to confirm wrong password is not entered.

I think this is a serious issue, as the missing password confirmation can easily lead to an irretrievable data loss. Still present in version 3.4.1
Comment 2 Paolo Bacchilega 2013-08-17 18:42:58 UTC
I added an icon to the right of the password entry that when clicked shows the password, so the user can check if he entered the right password.

I don't like the idea of a second entry to confirm the password because it adds useless clutter to the interface.

This feature will be available in the next major release (3.10). Thank you for the bug report.
