Description mioveken 2009-12-18 12:23:57 UTC
I would like to see drag and drop support enabled in the (gnome) main menu;
1. in Places to throw files directly in a folder or drive.. (e.g. "Documents");
2. in Applications to open a file with a chosen application and also to move/insert launchers (I know about the edit menus, but drag&drop would be much more intuitive imo).
Also new users may expect this behavior if they come from e.g. winxp.

all versions of ubuntu known to me are affected.(i'm on karmic though)
