Description Sense Hofstede 2009-12-17 12:52:47 UTC
Currently there is no option in gnome-search-tool for searching all partitions and disks, and it's not clear that/if all disks and partitions should be accessible via the File System or '/'.

It would be good if an entry would be added to the possible search destinations, or if the label of the File System would be changed or clarified.

This bug was originally reported by Tavo De Chivix on Launchpad in Ubuntu at <https://launchpad.net/bugs/393681>.

Another user has reported the same issue. <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-utils/+bug/578765>. Thank you.

gnome-search-tool is not under active development anymore.
Its codebase has been archived:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/gnome-search-tool/commits/master

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather reactivate the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
