Description Danielle Madeley 2009-12-14 20:57:56 UTC
We have a preference for "Open new chats in separate windows". We should also have a preference for "Show conversation immediately". This would more closely mimic the GMail behaviour and seems to be what many people want.

In addition, we should find out when we were unable to create the GtkStatusIcon (i.e. the user has no tray) and then override this option to display conversations immediately anyway.

Another related question is if we should have an option to automatically accept MUC invites.

Hi Danielle! Isn't this (in part) a duplicate of bug 585914 ?
Comment 2 Danielle Madeley 2009-12-14 23:05:03 UTC
It is. I knew I'd seen it before, but my search failed me.
